Roboknowledge is split into different sections
  • Faq's
  • Articles
  • The Forum
  • Documents

Faq's are 'Frequently asked questions'. They form the backbone of the service. Faq's are short concise answers to the many problems encountered by users. They are generally the starting point for users. They provide quick solutions to the majority of problems.

Articles are descriptions of processes and 'how-to's' we have developed and go into greater depth than faqs. They also provide 'code' examples for users to use.
The Forum is the meeting place for all users and allows users to input into Roboknowledge. Gaining direct contact with us and other users.

Documents are free form documents that we issue in order to assist users. Like articles they go into greater depth. Document format is very loose. We are able to use Excel sheets, word docs,Adobe pdf files, jpegs ,gifs and so on. Using documents allows us to improve on the way in which content is made available to users.

Many tutorials involve the use of a text editor or the ABB development tools like.
  • Shopfloor editor
  • Program maker

Whilst we encourage users to program using these tools it is always safer to program directly from the programming unit. Usage of text editors and / or the software tools are always quicker.

We aim to be platform independent and all of our content can be viewed by Windows platforms , Macintosh platforms and the Linux variants. All the user needs is a computer and an internet connection.
Our aim is to broaden the content and explore new ways of distributing our knowledge. We rely on user input.
Please feel free to feedback to Roboknowlege. This will enable us to improve our service.
